Liberal Democrats Just Find It Easier To Be Stuck On Stupid

During a recent news conference, reporters were in full-fledged belligerent attack Bush mode as they kept
bombarding the speakers who were there to talk about preparations in association with hurricane Rita, that was threatening
the Gulf coast, with questions about hurricane Katrina.
The military commander who had been placed in charge of military
operations concerning the recovery efforts in the region, Lieutenant General Russell Honore, and was instantly dubbed 'John
Wayne' by the press, reached a point where he'd had enough of the media grandstanding.
He took the podium and called
them out. "Let's not get stuck on the last storm. You're asking last-storm questions for people who are concerned about the
future storm. Don't get stuck on stupid, reporters. We're moving forward -- and don't confuse the people, please. You're a
part of the public message. So help us get the message straight."
Media elitists being who they are didn't quite realize
they weren't dealing with some thin-skinned politician. In the attack Bush mode, a reporter asked, "Just understand a little
bit more about why that's happening this time, though, and did not happen last time. The question here: Why are you doing
it this time and you didn't do it last time?"
'John Wayne' Honore quickly shot back, "You are stuck on stupid. I'm
not going to answer that question. We've got to deal with Rita."
In the past few weeks it's become even more obvious
that it's not just the liberal media who are 'stuck on stupid', but the Democrat party. Which, quite frankly, includes the
media and right now they are hell-bent on trying to destroy the President with as much blame as they can create.
Remember,
in the world of liberalism, it's not about presenting all the facts or simply reporting the news, it's about promoting the
liberal agenda in spite of the truth.
In advance of hurricane Katrina, the media was totally outraged that President
Bush was continuing his 'vacation' at home in Crawford and wasn't putting himself in the path of the storm. Yet, as hurricane
Rita was approaching to give the Gulf coast a second hit, the President was in full command of the situation and as he headed
out ahead of the storm to personally check the logistical operations, the media was still 'stuck on stupid'.
MSNBC
reporter David Gregory shouted to the President, "I mean, how -- What could you actually do? Isn't there a risk of you and
your entourage getting in the way?" When the President told him no, they wouldn't get in the way, Gregory added, "The critics
might say this is overcompensation for the response to FEMA."
The critics Gregory was obviously referring to were members
of the liberal media, including himself, because as his questions imply, they are definitely stuck on stupid!
During
a recent pay-per-view event that was supposed to be held to raise money for hurricane relief efforts, liberals confiscated
the show for their own political purposes as another attack Bush forum. Along with spouting off that Republicans should go
@$#% themselves, Bette Midler openly displayed why she and her liberal Hollywood brethren are stuck on stupid.
"I could
stand up here and talk for hours about ineptitude, stupidity (louder cheering), blame, in-e-qual-i-ty, global warming, the
dangerous destruction of the wetlands," Midler ranted. "But if I did, what will all those other people have to talk about?
I'm telling you these are -- these are not just dangerous times, these are -- these times are disastrous. We're surrounded
by disasters! The war, the hurricane, the Fox News. It just goes on and on. I get so depressed!" If she looked in a mirror
once in a while her depression would get worse!
You knew it wouldn't be long before the king of stuck on stupid, Bill
Clinton, chimed in with an attack on Bush as a precursor to his role in helping his wife's future Presidential campaign and
his hope to become the first 'male' First Lady and the first person to sue himself for molestation.
About Iraq, he
said we went in, "virtually alone and before UN inspections were completed, with no real urgency, no evidence that there were
weapons of mass destruction." Notice how he conveniently excluded the evidence of Iraqi WMD he repeatedly touted during his
presidency and used to justify bombing Iraq, the seventeen U.N. resolutions, and the multiple terrorist attacks during his
watch that went veritably unnoticed by him and his administration.
Concerning hurricane Katrina he blamed the administration
for not getting everyone out of New Orleans, "If we really wanted to do it right, we would have had lots of buses lined up
to take them out," Clinton said. Like the flooded buses the Mayor refused to utilize in advance of the storm while he was
stuck on stupid.
And he did a two-for-one stuck on stupid by using the Democrat classics, tax-cuts-for-the-rich and
the race card. "This is a matter of public policy. And whether it's race based or not, if you give your tax cuts to the rich
and hope everything works out all right and poverty goes up, and it disproportionately affects black and brown people, that's
a consequence of the action made."
A) African-American home ownership, individual income rate, household income rate,
female employment, and business ownership have all increased since President Bush took office, while the poverty rate has
decreased. B) Everyone got a tax cut, not just the rich, and that has led to record-level tax revenue collections. C) If Clinton
and all his 'rich' liberal Democrat buddies would quit being stuck on stupid about their tax cut, they would forfeit that
money to the government... putting their money where their mouths are!
As a matter of a fact, Clinton and all liberal
Democrats who are stuck on stupid about their tax cuts should just repay the government all that 'uncollected' revenue and
use it to help finance the rebuilding effort in the Gulf coast region, saving the 'deficit' billions of dollars.
But
that won't happen because it's easier for liberal Democrats to simply be 'stuck on stupid'!
